Paros the island of vibrant life, with its cosmopolitan atmosphere and unspoiled fishing villages. Known for its translucent Parian marble and the stalactite caves of Antiparos, this is also the island with the valley of Jersey Tiger moths, of golden sandy beaches with crystal clear waters and the legendary Ekatontapyliani Church (Our Lady of 100 Gates).
Exploring the island is a must especially to visit one of the many marble workshops and to find a great little fish tavern on the water for your afternoon meal. Do take a day trip to visit nearby Antiparos, both interesting and romantic.
Paros offers a high level of tourist infrastructure, yet still has lovely, unspoiled areas and plenty of fantastic sights and attractions.
The main villages of Parikia and Naoussa are preferred by most tourists and both have plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops.
